Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 23, 2026 · Last updated: June 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how QueryNorth ("QueryNorth," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit querynorth.com (the "Site"), contact us, request a free assessment, or schedule a call. It applies to the Site only. It does not govern data we may process for a client under a separate services agreement, which is covered by that agreement.
1. Who we are
QueryNorth is a U.S.-based consulting business operating from Florida. For any question about this policy or your information, contact us at hello@querynorth.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit a form, request an assessment, schedule a call, or email us, we collect what you choose to provide — typically your name, business email, company name, job title, and any details you include about your needs.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect basic technical and usage data, including IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and timestamps, through server logs and cookies (see Section 4).
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through the Site, and we do not purchase personal information from data brokers.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries and schedule and conduct calls;
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
- Measure and improve our marketing and advertising;
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
4. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, understand usage, and measure advertising. Categories include:
| Category | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Core site functionality and security |
| Analytics | Understand how visitors use the Site |
| Advertising / conversion | Measure ad performance and reach prior visitors |
| Scheduling | Enable embedded meeting booking |
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. You can also use the opt-outs in Section 6.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers acting on our behalf under contract — including providers of website hosting, web analytics, advertising and conversion measurement, form processing, and meeting scheduling.
- Professional advisors — such as accountants and lawyers, as needed.
- Legal and safety — to comply with law or legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Some of our advertising and analytics providers may use cookies and tags to enable cross-context behavioral advertising. Under certain U.S. state laws, this may be considered "sharing." See Sections 6 and 8 for how to opt out.
6. Your advertising and analytics choices
You can limit or opt out of analytics and advertising tracking through:
- Your browser — block or delete cookies and use any built-in ad-tracking controls.
- Industry opt-out tool — optout.aboutads.info (Digital Advertising Alliance).
- Opt-out preference signals — we honor recognized signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) where required by law.
You may also email hello@querynorth.com to ask that we not share your personal information for advertising purposes.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, then delete or anonymize it. Inquiry and contact records are generally kept for up to 24 months after last contact unless you ask us to delete them sooner; analytics and server-log data are retained for shorter periods per provider and operational settings. We retain information longer where required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.
8. Your privacy rights (U.S. residents)
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:
- Know / access the personal information we have collected about you;
- Delete your personal information;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and targeted advertising;
- Non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
We do not sell personal information. To exercise a right, email hello@querynorth.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf where permitted.
9. Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information, including HTTPS/TLS on the Site and use of reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites or platforms. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to review their policies before providing information.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
